Patient Participation Group

We are encouraging patients to give their views about how the practice is doing and would like to set up a Patient Participation Group, to ensure services on offer truly meet the needs of all patients.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the Group, share their ideas on how services could be changed and get involved in making those changes – for the good of the patients and the practice.

From time to time we will contact patients by email to establish which areas are important to you and gain an understanding of your priorities. This will help us to compile a survey to send to a representative sample of our patient population.

Once the survey is completed we will share the results with the Group and allow for reflection and discussion with the surgery team. Should any proposals for change be made an action plan for achieving this will be put in place.

We would like to run the Group electronically, however should the Group propose to occasionally meet this will be accommodated as best as possible.
