Travel

We only provide the vaccinations available on the NHS. These are

  • Cholera
  • Diphtheria, polio and tetanus booster
  • hepatitis A – some combined vaccines, such as combined hepatitis A and B
  • typhoid

If you call the surgery for travel vaccinations we are unable to offer you travel advice. You will be advised to check your destination on a vaccinations website (National Travel Health Network and Centre) http://www.nathnac.org/ds/map_world.aspx and check what are the recommended vaccinations. If you require vaccinations other than those listed above you will need to attend a private vaccinations service. We recommend that you receive your consultation and private vaccinations prior to having your NHS vaccinations as the private service can confirm what is required. You will need to ensure you book all vaccinations in adequate time prior to travel.
